Catherine

What attracted me to Catherine was the way she was so lit by the sun.  My poor husband took many pictures of me painting this because I wanted to do a stop-action video to play for a festival I was attending.  I'm sure there is a simpler way to do it but the only equipment we had was a camera and of course our computer!  He did a great job with it and deserves a pat on the back for his patience.

As always, I love all your paintings. This is beautiful! She is beautiful! Two thumbs up to your hubby for his work, too.

I like this. There are several areas of interest. You show enough of her face to show how she is reacting to the sun. The dark color of her dress at the bottom of the painting lead my eyes upward to her face. The three colors of pink, yellow, and blue on their left shoulder make up a triangle and the various shades of hues around the head add a certain aliveness. Bernard
