Sheila

I've been working very hard on this miniature portrait of Sheila, only a 5x7. I had to buy extra small brushes for this one, not to mention using anything small and pointy for the eyes. I'm doing a series of three paintings for Sheila's Mother, two sisters and one brother. Although Sheila is a grown woman now, her sweet smile as a child is still reflected in her smile now.

What a beautiful little girl! This portrait reminds me of one of my daughter's school pictures (second grade, I think). She had a red dress with a big white collar, too. *sniff* Great work, Rhonda!

Sheila, I'm so happy that your mother was pleased and thanks for the opportunity to paint you!

Paz & Brenda, good to hear from you two and thank you so much!

Hi Liz, maybe next time I should work larger--an 8x10--lol.

I love the texture of her bib. That was what first captured me.
