The Garden

I've been doing a little gardening lately. This isn't my first garden but is my first in a long long time. It has been enjoyable to harvest the fruits of the land and just being outside listening to the birds chirping. Here are a few pics. . .

Any gardening experts out there? I have some little holes on my cabbage plants. I've seen a few rabbits but I think they're innocent! Until next time. . .

What a yummy looking vegie patch! Ignore those holes - it just means the insects are having their share and that all your vegies are poison free! I always share with natures little creatures.

Thanks Liz, when I return from my motorcycle trip, I'm going to plant a few herbs, more lettuce & radishes. I think I'm doing everything but painting these days :-)

Very nice! I've been wanting to put together a window box garden, which is the closest I'll have to a garden, living in an apartment building. ;-)

Hi Paz, That could be a work of art too--I would love to see it when you get it done. Good to hear from you :-)

I love to garden, Rhonda, but I don't have any property on which to plant anything! I have to grow everything in flower pots, which can be a challenge.

If you have small holes on your cabbage it is probably a larvare or beetle eating the leaves. Try spraying on a hot pepper emulsion to deter them.

Hope you have a very happy 4th of July!

Thanks for the advice Pat, I'll try that next year (too late for this year).
