Rhonda the "Model"

I've always wanted to know what it feels like to be the "model" and now I know. We have a group of artists that get together from time to time and paint each other or our spouses, our children, etc. My friends said that I did a good job modeling and didn't move too much but they didn't ooooohhhhhhh and aaaaaaahhhhh over my beauty, guess I'm more of a character model. My friend Angela painted this and I think she captured a good likeness--maybe a little younger but that's good!

The painting is lovely. (You are a beautiful person, Rhonda, inside and out!)

Ohhhh! Ahhhh! I love this portrait. Your friend did a great job. You look like the perfect model.

Hey! Your hair grew longer! ;-)

Kudos to the artist and the model.

Paz

P.S. Wait. So, when you're a model, you can't move or scratch an itch or something? Or read a book or yawn? Did you get bored being a model?

Thanks Brenda!

Paz,
I could scratch or itch if I needed to just returned to my position. I didn't read or yawn, I just kind of zoned out (he he). Yes I've let my hair grow--don't know why though. I'm going to check out your calendars!

Hi Pat,
I'm sure I had a glazed expression after a couple of hours.

Thanks Suzanne, Angela does a great job!

Hi Gina, I love the greens and how Angela worked it in all over the canvas.

Hi Trotter,
Don't stay away so long in the future, although I know how busy life can get! Thanks so much and now I need to visit a spa in Turkey--sounds wonderful!

Rhonda, You look lovely! I was about to ask something similar to what Paz asked about wanting to move or twitch...I imagine it can be hard to sit still, though. Your friend did a nice job; I love the greens in this painting.

Hi Mari,
Angela did do a good job, it was easier than I thought to model. They gave me lots of breaks.
