Practice Makes Perfect--yes a Ballerina!

Faye and I were "Posing" in front of the Gallery in a spare moment during our opening reception. We had a wonderful crowd and lots of fun.

I named this painting "Practice Makes Perfect", another one of my ballerina series that I did for the Capitol Show.

What a beautiful painting. I love paintings of people in motion. And how exciting to see your name painted on the window!

Love the name of your blog--Last Cup of Coffee--thanks for stopping by and checking out my ballerinas!

Thanks Mari, it was fun seeing our names--we did this a couple of years ago but we have bigger letters this time (lol). I like figures in motion too, gives them a little life.

Hi Paz, well none of my paintings are perfect but I do practice. We did have a good time, it's easy to have fun with Faye around.

Hi Rhonda!
Sorry for the long absence! But don’t you think it was a great vacation; some very busy weeks and just a few days off... ;)
Unfortunately, not enough to cross the Atlantic... :(
You're looking great on the picture, and the ballerina is on its way to perfection!!

Meanwhile Blogtrotter is still turning around Iceland. Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!

Gil, I have missed you! Hope you had a wonderful vacation visiting an exotic destination of course. Thanks for your comments on my ballerina, you know I love to paint them.

Gina, sometimes it's hard for me to keep the color subdued but I did for this one. I usually hate ANY picture of me but Faye looks great (lol).

Brenda, glad you liked my picture and my ballerina. Have you been letting your creative juices flow and writing lots lately? I'll have to check!

Thank you Liz, glad you approve, she is a very lovely young woman.
