"A Slice of Life"

10 x 8
Rhonda Hartis Smith © 2009
I've been focusing on still life paintings from life. This painting is all about the "orange". I tried to pay special attention to light and edges.

Your painting is so real that I want to take a big bite of that orange. (BTW...the light and edges are perfect!)

This is so realistic, Rhonda! Like Brenda said it made me want to take a bite out of that juicy orange. I love the texture on the orange and the reflection of it in the table. Brava!

Hi Rhonda! This one is perfect! Were it an apple and it could have been signed Cezanne! Wonderful!

Meanwhile Blogtrotter (not me, I’m stuck here ;)) is profiting from the holidays in Lisbon this week and has a tour of Lake Galve, one of the beautiful lakes near Trakai, to show you, when you get some time to visit! Hope you enjoy and have a great week!

Very nicely done. I like the texture you put on both the whole and the slice.
