This is lovely, Rhonda. Really beautiful paint handling and warm, glowing tones. (Looks great with your background blog color, too!!) :-)
Hi Rhonda, I agree with Liz, they are lovely! Maybe that's the title Lovely Lemons. Or maybe "Three's a Crowd" since the one poor fellow is off by himself. :)Have fun putting on the highlights...my favorite part!
Hi Rhonda, Arent lemons wonderful? The only phrase I know with lemons is 'when life gives you lemons make lemonade' so maybe the title could be 'when life gives you lemons' Im pretty rubbish at thinking these things up as my blog posts prove Hee Hee. Another lovely painting X
Thanks Liz, I worked on again last night and it looks better with the highlights. I did try to get warm tones.Michelle I love the name Lovely Lemons! I'm looking forward to your challenge because I do love Sorolla.Hi Kitten, thanks for your suggestions on the title and you have one of the wittiest blogs! Can't wait til your next post.
I love the painting Rhonda and I always enjoy trying to think up titles.'Whats wrong sour puss' pops into my head but it really isn't a nice name for one of your paintings.
Thanks Suzanne, keep thinking on a title (lol).
Hi RhindaWonderful still life! How about "three lemons" in French? "Trois Citrons"?I like the "Lovely Lemons" suggestion also.Have a good show!
Love the painting, including the title suggestions -- especially the one, "Three's a Crowd".Happy painting,Paz
