Grandchildren on the Beach

These were paintings that I was commissioned to do for Christmas gifts. It was fun working with Lora on these two paintings; going through her wonderful beach pictures of her Grandchildren. I went through several pictures and came up with a painting of the three children and with Lora's help, we came up with an acceptable composition.

I'm afraid once again my photography of the painting does not do justice to this adorable little girl. Lora has another Granddaughter that has the most beautiful white blond hair.

Hi Paz, they do for me, I'm heading south next week--heading for the beach and hope I'll get some new inspirations.

Hello Gina, The painting with the 3 children is a little warm, I don't know about my photography skills, I need to take a lesson from you guys. Thanks so much for your kind words, I'm ready for a new year.

Such a lovely painting. Reminds me of being little when we had so much fun playing on the sand, unlike todays children who seem to prefer staying indoors and playing computer games. Beautiful painting! X

Hi Kitten,
Just got back from the beach and now have new inspirations to paint. I never get tired of the ocean (in good weather of course).
Thanks for your sweet comments.
